Precast concrete fire rating properties met the project requirements with no need for additional fireproofing. The inherent properties of the precast concrete provided a continuous barrier against heat, air, and vapor. Precast/ Prestressed concrete arrived on the job meeting designed strength requirements, which allowed for the installation of the beams and planks to occur concurrently. The entire first level was constructed in one month.
